Beloved Silken Windhound
presents…
IntCH Attaway Jaguarundi ETD GRC FCH BFAST “Podzol”
X
MBIF UKC CH Sunera’s Vanishing Glass FCH SSR CTL1-H RACEN NC BFAST ATD SPOT-ON “Fable”
I am incredibly excited to present this pairing. Podzol brings many structural strengths that complement Fable, and both dogs share exceptional drive, consistency, and love for the lure. I’m especially eager to see Fable’s strong handler focus alongside Pod’s adorable ears and maybe even a few signature tongue bleps.
Podzol is a 23″, 9-year-old accomplished male based in Vancouver who continues to race and run cleanly and enthusiastically. Podzol was
the 2018 & 2019 ASFA #13 Silken Windhound, 2018 NWFest ASFA 1st in Open Stakes, and 2019 NWFest ASFA BOB. On weekends, he enjoys joining his owner for hikes or snoozing the day away. He has completed 20 km with approximately 1,200 m of elevation gain in a single day. He has a wonderful off-switch and is an excellent companion at home. Podzol is environmentally stable and truly a “go anywhere” kind of dog. He is neutral to aloof with strangers and matches the play styles of other dogs very well.
Structurally, he has a smooth transition from neck into back, indicating good shoulder layback, along with a well-returned upper arm set correctly under his shoulders. He has a short back in proportion to a longer, well-arched loin, flowing smoothly into his croup. His rear angulation is moderate, with a good turn of stifle and broad hock joints. He has small, fine ears that do not prick (one of my favorite traits), a strong underjaw, and good pigment. He demonstrates clean side gait and sound movement down and back, with correct tight feet. He is square in proportion, as described in the breed standard. Podzol has previously produced sweet, silly, and structurally sound puppies in his first litter in January 2025.
You can see many videos and photos of Podzol here. OFA. Pedigree.
This litter would not have been possible without the support of so many wonderful friends. Thank you to Pauline Ng, Kelly Ng, and Iola Stetson for helping make this breeding a reality. And to Leigh Klatsky Alexander, Charliann Cross, Karen Park, and Christina Beckerman, your encouragement have meant so much as I navigate this journey as a first-time breeder.

Inspired by fruits woven into East Asian art, history, and cultural tradition, each name was chosen with symbolism in mind that reflected ideas of warmth, resilience, immortality, prosperity, and more.
In many East Asian cultures, including South Korea where I am from, naming a beloved pet after food is considered auspicious. It is believed that such names carry wishes for health, longevity, and a life filled with blessings. With my first litter, my deepest hope is that these puppies grow strong, know little trouble, and become cherished members of their families for many years to come.
Applications are currently open for this litter. More pictures of the puppies are located on the Beloved Silken Windhounds Facebook group.
